Police investigate shot fired on Teller Avenue

One shot , which didn’t hit anyone, was fired during a melee overnight in the 1000 block of Teller Avenue, the Grand Junction Police Department said this morning.

Police believe three males went to an apartment and got into an argument with the people inside.  The suspects fled to a car in the parking lot and one of them fired a shot.  It did not hit anyone, and no one was injured during this incident.

Officers and deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office later found the car, but have not located any of the suspects involved.
