Police: Man shot early Sunday

Grand Junction Police officers were seeking the whereabouts of a person who shot a man in the area of 12th Street and Bookcliff Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. this morning.

The victim was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, according to a release from the Police Department.
