Police walk away from standoff

COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police have ended a standoff with a man armed with a shotgun by walking away.

Instead, police say they will issue a citation later.

According to KRDO-TV, police were called to a report of a domestic dispute Tuesday night and they were met at the door by a man with a shotgun. The man locked the door and refused to come out.

Police said the man was not a danger to his neighbors and they will deal with it later.
