Police: Weapons on campus of Colo. high school

WESTMINSTER — Police are investigating after some weapons were found on the grounds at Standley Lake High School in suburban Denver.

Westminster police say a shotgun and a lever action rifle were found between two sheds by athletic fields Wednesday afternoon.

Jefferson County school district spokeswoman Lynn Setzer classes are continuing at the school but students are not being allowed to leave the building.
