Possible cattle rustling
A Collbran rancher is missing three calves.
Benjamin Edward Nichols, who lives at 55759 Colorado Highway 330, reported to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department that he was moving his cattle to his summer range when we noticed some were missing.
No arrests have been made.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Someone entered a garage Tuesday in the 1500 block of Main Street and took property valued between $1,000 and $20,000.
Someone entered a garage Wednesday in the 1000 black of Lakeside Drive and removed property valued at more than $1,000.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Someone burglarized a home in the 2800 block of North Avenue on Wednesday and removed property valued at less than $200.
Michael Alexander Simmons, 59, of 597 Grand Cascade Way, was arrested Wednesday for alleged theft and distribution, manufacture, sale and possession of a controlled substance.
Heather Renee Robinson, 20, of 1216 Steele St., was arrested Wednesday for allegedly receiving stolen property valued at between $1,000 and $20,000.
Arthur Clay Traylor III, 36, of 12232 Aloe Vera St., was arrested Wednesday for alleged first-degree theft of an auto valued at less than $20,000, theft of less than $500, driving under the influence of alcohol, conspiracy and driving with a suspended license.
Edward Alan Eldridge, 53, of Callyard Street in Clifton, was arrested Wednesday for alleged theft of an auto valued at less than $20,000, theft of less than $500 and conspiracy.
According to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Department:
Chase Dan Wadsworth, 24, of Rifle was charged Wednesday with alleged criminal mischief of private property valued less than $500, third-degree assault, harassment and obstructing a peace officer.
