Potomac State is coming back to Grand Junction

Potomac State College of West Virginia won the Eastern District title and qualified for the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series.

The Catamounts (35-10) defeated Pitt (N.C.) Community College 6-4 in 11 innings in Keyser, W.Va.

This is Potomac State’s fourth appearance in the Division I World Series and first since 2006.
