Power failure at Suplizio Field as GJHS leads Fruita Monument, 10-4

A baseball game at Suplizio Field was suspended around 8 p.m. after an apparent power failure, knocking out lights at the facility.

A Daily Sentinel reporter said tonight’s game between Grand Junction and Fruita Monument was headed into the bottom of the fifth inning, with Grand Junction leading 10-4, when lights went out at the field.
