Power knocked out at Veterans Hospital

DENVER — A small fire at the Veterans Hospital in Denver has knocked out power.

Firefighters say the hospital is on auxiliary power while Xcel crews work to fix the problem.

Denver Fire Department spokesman Mark Watson tells the Denver Post no firefighters or patients have been injured in the fire, which has been contained to a substation.
