Residents in wildfire to be allowed to return home

SALIDA — Residents evacuated from a Colorado wildfire are being allowed to return home.

Spokeswoman Brenda Bowen says all evacuations due to the Duckett fire will be lifted today, with the exception of the Rainbow Train Lutheran Camp and Rito Alta mine area.

About 130 homes in Custer and Fremont counties have been evacuated because of the flames.

All National Forest Service lands, roads and trails in the fire area in the San Isabel National Forest will remain closed to the public.
