Used to underdog status, Rifle is favorite in 3A title game
Ryan Moeller leads Rifle’s running attack into the Class 3A state title game against Silver Creek at 1 p.m. Saturday at Legacy Stadium in Aurora. Paced by Moeller’s 2,857 yards, the Bears have run over every team so far this season. To win its first title since 2004, Rifle will have to stop the Raptors’ passing attack.
