Rollover accident near Gateway cancels school
Treacherous road conditions likely led to a tanker truck rollover just before 7 a.m. about 10 miles north of Gateway along Highway 141. The two-tank truck, carrying diesel and conventional gasoline, flipped into West Creek, leaking fuel that caught fire and was carried downstream. The condition of the driver is unknown. Both directions of traffic near mile marker 120 are open, though limited, at this point, and District 51 has canceled class at Gateway School for the day.

School District 51 has canceled all activities for the day at Gateway School, due to a tanker rollover accident earlier this morning.
The school district said that parents of students there would be notified directly, and cited “the impact to transportation and our students” for the full-day closure.
An accident happened before 7 a.m., near mile marker 120 on Highway 141, and a related fuel spill caused a fire that required responders to extinguish it. The road is still open in both directions.
