Romero found guilty of dismembering teenager
DENVER — A jury has found a man guilty of first-degree murder in the death of a teenager who was found dismembered in 2010.
Edward Romero with now face a March sentencing hearing, where he is expected to be sentenced to life in prison.
According to KUSA-TV, Romero had no reaction to the verdict handed down Monday.
Romero pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in connection with the death of 16-year-old Alicia Martinez.
Her body was found in a home in Denver in October 2010.
