RSSSan Jacinto gets title rematch with Iowa Western
San Jacinto (Texas) College-North pitcher Daniel Stumpf pitched a complete game to lead the Gators to a 7-1 victory over Gordon (Ga.) College in an Alpine Bank Junior College World Series elimination game at Suplizio Field.
Stumpf limited Gordon to one run on 10 hits and struck out six for his second victory of the tournament.
Kyle Bacak was 1 for 4 with a two-run double and three RBI to lead the Gators.
San Jacinto plays Iowa Western Community College for the national title at 7 tonight at Suplizio Field.
