Search continues for missing school girl

WESTMINSTER — Authorities in Colorado are continuing their search for a 10-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday.

The FBI is also taking part as the search continues on Monday.

Westminster police say a backpack has been found on a sidewalk on a street about 6 miles from the suburban Denver home of Jessica Ridgeway, who was last seen as she walked to a park where she meets classmates before school.

Police would not discuss the contents of the bag but say they believe it belongs to the girl.
