Small plane crashes at Great Sand Dunes Natl. park

ALAMOSA — A small plane has crashed at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in southern Colorado, but it remains unclear if anyone was injured or killed.

Park spokeswoman Katherine Faz tells KMGH-TV in Denver the National Transportation Safety Board has been called in to investigate this afternoon’s crash. She would not say what type of plane was involved, how many people were on board or if there were any injuries or deaths.
