Small plane crashes at Yampa Valley airport

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Investigators are due Monday at Yampa Valley Regional Airport after a small plane crashed during high winds.

Yampa Valley Regional Airport manager Dave Ruppel says there were no serious injuries in Sunday’s crash. The pilot and passengers were not identified.

According to Steamboat Today, the pilot lost control and ran through grassy areas, across the taxiway and through a fence.
