Palisade wins player, coach of year awards in Western Slope League

Palisade High School senior Shannon Rhodes was selected the All-4A Western Slope League volleyball player of the year, and Bulldogs coach Wendy MacAskill was selected the league’s coach of the year.

Palisade went 15-10 overall and won the Class 4A Western Slope League title.

Palisade had two other first-team selections, seniors Tahverle Hodges and Morgan Thieszen.

Delta has a pair of first-team selections, seniors Callie Gafford and Natalie Larkin.
