Stabbing suspected at island on Colorado River
The Grand Junction Police Department are investigating a possible stabbing this afternoon on an island in the Colorado River south of 2469 Riverside Parkway.
Grand Junction Police officers responded at approximately 3:44 p.m. Monday to a report of a stabbing on the island. Two men are suspected of being in an altercation and one sustained minor injuries. The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30’s who is thin, 6-feet, 4-inches tall and was last seen wearing a camouflage vest and jeans.
The incident is being investigated. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Grand Junction Police Department non-emergency dispatch at 242-6707 or Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP.
