RSSStarting lineups announced for JUCO championship
San Jacinto (Texas) College-North is the home team and will start left-hander Anthony Banda in the Alpine Bank Junior College World Series championship game tonight at Suplizio Field.
Iowa Western Community College will start left-hander Andy Roberts.
Roberts (1-0) is making his second start in the World Series. He led the Reivers to a 4-1 victory over Spartanburg Methodist (S.C.) College in the elimination bracket on Sunday.
Banda (0-1) is making his second start as well. He gave up six earned runs in 3 1/3 innings in a 9-7 loss to Gordon (Ga.) College on Wednesday.
