Thornton fire forces 44 people into the cold

THORNTON — An apartment fire in Thornton has forced 44 people into the cold.

Police say all of the residents were able to escape the fire early Wednesday. Two people were treated for minor injuries.

According to KUSA-TV, investigators believe it started on the second or third floor of the building and has been put out.
