Three accused of cocaine distribution

Three Roaring Fork Valley adults and a juvenile have been arrested and more arrests are anticipated following an undercover drug investigation.

The arrests occurred Thursday after an undercover detective with the Eagle County Drug Task Force bought 2 ounces of cocaine valued at $2,400, the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department said.

The three arrested are Shawn David Mikulyuk, 20, of El Jebel; Braden Kahn, 23, of Glenwood Springs; and a 16-year-old girl from Basalt.

All three were arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession and distribution. Both are felony charges.

Mikulyuk and Kahn were being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility, with bonds set at $50,000. The juvenile was taken to the detention center and later released to her parents.

Basalt police assisted in the arrest.
