Three injured in stabbing, assault incident

Two people were stabbed and another was assaulted and suffered a head injury during an incident that occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Tuesday at 819 Noland Ave., according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

All three victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Grand Junction hospital, according to a police department press release. Officers responded to the scene to assist Grand Junction Fire Department personnel with two people who had knife wounds. Soon after officers responded to Noland Avenue, a man called 911 from a pay phone to report he had been assaulted during the incident and had a head injury.

The department is investigating the incident. Police said they are not looking for any suspects, and no arrests have been made.
