Tigers remain No. 1, Palisade moves up to No. 2
Grand Junction remained No. 1 in the Denver Post Class 5A football poll this week with six first-place votes.
The Tigers (3-0) play Friday at Westminster.
Palisade (3-0) moved up one spot to No. 2 in the Class 3A poll. The Bulldogs have three first-place votes. Rifle (3-0) cracked the top 10 at No. 10 after its 16-0 victory over Olathe. Vista Ridge (3-0) held on to the top spot.
Montrose (4-0) is ranked sixth in the Class 4A poll after a 54-0 victory over Steamboat Springs. The Indians moved up three spots.
Olathe (1-2) dropped three spots to No. 8 in the Class 2A poll after its loss to Rifle. Aspen (2-1) fell three spot to No. 7 after a 44-20 loss to Hotchkiss.
Hotchkiss (3-0) remained No. 2 in the Class 1A poll after its victory. Burlington (3-0) received all 11 first-place votes.
