Udall touring flood recovery sites

LONGMONT — Sen. Mark Udall is headed to Longmont and Lyons to see flood recovery efforts and discuss the effects of the federal shutdown.

Colorado’s senior senator says that the government shutdown is hurting irrigation companies working to rebuild following the devastating flooding last month. He plans to tour St. Vrain and Left Hand Water Conservancy District in Longmont.

Then the Democrat heads to Lyons to meet members of the veterans group Team Rubicon who are volunteering to help the Boulder County community rebuild.
