Udall’s son scheduled to enter plea in theft case

BOULDER — The son of U.S. Sen. Mark Udall is scheduled to appear in court Thursday to enter a plea in a burglary case in Boulder County.

Jedediah Fox-Udall was arrested in January after he was accused of breaking into a home and four cars after allegedly using heroin.

His arraignment was originally scheduled in May but the hearing was delayed as attorneys discussed a possible plea deal.

He was charged with a felony count of burglary, a misdemeanor count of theft and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

When he was arrested, investigators say he admitted using heroin in the previous two days. He later enrolled in an addiction treatment program.
