UW recognizes 1st grads of new degree program
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Sabrina Forbis, of Riverton, and Kyle McDonald, of Jackson, are the first University of Wyoming students to receive bachelor’s degrees in energy resource science at UW.
The degree is offered by the UW School of Energy Resources.
School of Energy Resources Director Mark Northam pointed out what he calls their entrepreneurial spirit in being the first to embrace the new curriculum.
Nearly four dozen students are now enrolled in the energy resource science program, and a master’s degree program is now in development.
