Weatherization grants made

Housing Resources of Western Colorado, a nonprofit, has been awarded $2.8 million in grants to provide free weatherization services to more than 400 qualifying homeowners in Delta, Gunnison, Mesa, Montrose, San Miguel, Ouray and Hinsdale counties.
The organization also received $254,000 from NeigborWorks America to rehabilitate to of Housing Resources’ rental properties.
The weatherization grant includes $1.8 million in federal stimulus funding.
