Police still were looking Saturday night for a robber who took an undisclosed amount of money Friday night from the Wendy’s restaurant at 3207 Interstate 70 Business Loop in Clifton.

The man forced his way into the restaurant near closing time about 10 p.m. as employees were locking up the building, Mesa County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Lisa McCammon said.

The man held five employees, including one manager, at gunpoint, took the money and left, she said.

No one was hurt during the incident.

The robbery suspect is a Hispanic man in his late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, according to McCammon.

He was wearing blue jeans and a light-colored, hooded sweatshirt during the robbery. He also wore a bandana across his face.
