RSSWestern Slope playoff games Saturday
Rifle, Delta, Eagle Valley and Hotchkiss will host high school football playoff games Saturday.
The Bears, the top-seeded team in Class 3A, host Roosevelt at 1 p.m. at Rifle High School in the quarterfinals. Delta, the No. 13 seed, plays No. 5 Pueblo East at 1 p.m. at Delta High School. The winners of those games meet in the state semifinals. Eagle Valley, seeded 14th, is on the other side of the bracket and hosts No. 6 Conifer at 2 p.m. Saturday. That winner meets either Pueblo Central or Silver Creek in the semifinals.
In Class 1A, No. 10 Hotchkiss plays rival Cedaredge, seeded third, at 1 p.m. at Hotchkiss High School in the semifinals. The winner plays either No. 1 Buena Vista or No. 4 Wray for the state championship on Nov. 24.
