RSSWildfire reported in wilderness area
A wildfire 10 to 20 acres in size is burning in remote and rugged terrain within the Little Bookcliffs Wilderness Area north of Grand Junction, said David Boyd, spokesman with the Bureau of Land Management.
No structures are threatened, and the BLM will manage the fire, Boyd added.
The fire likely was caused by lightning, he said.
It was first reported Sunday.
