A Little Noon Music returns: Brian Hanly, William David begin slate on Wednesday

The noon hour gets a little sweeter with the return of A Little Noon Music on the second Wednesday of each month from September through May at First United Methodist Church, 522 White Ave.

Performances begin at 12:15 p.m. and run 30–40 minutes. The concerts are free.

Here is the 2017–18 schedule.

■ Sept. 13: Brian Hanly on violin and William David on piano.

■ Oct. 11: Carlos Elias on violin, Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun on cello, Andrea Arese-Elias on piano.

■ Nov. 8: Linda Jenks, piano.

■ Dec. 13: Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun, cello.

■ Jan. 10: Songs and poetry from Spain and Nicaragua.

■ Feb. 14: Jonathan Hinkle, trumpet.

■ March 14: Kelly Anderson singing baritone and Elise Anderson on harp.

■ April 11: Jun Watabe on clarinet, Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun on cello and Arthur Houle on piano.

■ May 9: Rimrock Winds — Jane Kuenzel on flute, Tom Hess on clarinet and Susan Hess on bassoon.
