■ An opening reception for the new exhibit “Between Here and There” will be from 6–8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, in the Art Gallery at the University Center at Colorado Mesa University.
The exhibit, featuring local fiber artists Mary Hertert and Nancy Dobson, is a collaboration from the two artists about their different interpretations of Anchorage, Alaska, and Grand Junction.
