Art and Jazz Festival downtown May 7-9
It’s modern jazz with a twist of Indian music and sounds, specifically the sounds of the streets of Kolkata and New Delhi. “Videsh” (Nov. 2009) is from the Aakash Mittal Quartet out of Loveland. The group will play Saturday, May 8, at the Downtown Grand Junction Art and Jazz Festival and will lead one of three workshops also offered that day at Creative Avenues.
