Book-signings, events scheduled
With the holidays and interest in local and regional books signed by the author, a number of book-signings are planned in December. Here is what to keep in mind for the upcoming week.
■ Paolo Bacigalupi will be signing books from 2–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road. Bacigalupi’s books include “Zombie Baseball Beatdown” (his latest), “Ship Breaker,” “The Drowned Cities” and “The Windup Girl.”
■ Mesa County Libraries will host its third annual Regional Authors Meet & Greet from 2–4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Central Library at Fifth Street and Grand Avenue.
At least 35 authors are scheduled to be there. The authors are from the Grand Valley, Front Range and other areas of Colorado.
■ Rebekah Simon-Peter, author of “The Jew Named Jesus: Discover the Man and His Message,” will sign books from 1–3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
