Ebooks workshops offer tips
Mesa County Libraries is offering a number of workshops to help readers learn how to borrow library ebooks using various electronic devices.
Ebooks from the digital collection can be borrowed by using a local library card and a tablet, smartphone or eReader.
Bring you device and attend one of the following workshops:
■ 2 p.m. Thursday, Clifton Branch, 590 32 Road
■ 6 p.m. Thursday, Central Library, Fifth Street and Grand Avenue.
■ 2 p.m. Jan. 14, Orchard Mesa Branch, 230 Lynwood St.
■ 6 p.m. Jan. 14, Clifton Branch, 590 32 Road.
■ 6 p.m. Jan. 16, Palisade Branch, 119 W. Third St.
■ 4 p.m. Jan. 21, Fruita Branch, 324 N. Coulson St.
■ 6 p.m. Jan. 23, Central Library, Fifth Street and Grand Avenue.
Those who cannot attend a workshop can bring their device and receive assistance from noon to 2 p.m. on Tech Table Tuesdays at the Central Library.
In addition, a 30-minute individual consultation can be scheduled with a librarian through the Book-A-Library service. To make an appointment, call 243-4442
