‘Off the Shelf’ hosts two authors
Two area authors will be featured at the next “Off the Shelf Author Series” event.
Matt Djos and Helen Sperber will read from their books during the event from 6–7 p.m. Thursday at Crystal Books and Gifts, 439 Main St.
Djos’s novel, “Like White, Scattering Flowers,” is the first in a planned trilogy “about alcoholism, addiction, and the forgotten generation in the latter half of the twentieth century,” according to a news release from the bookstore.
Sperber is the author of “The Blue Wildebeest,” which is about three friends on a bucket-list vacation on Cape Cod, the news release said.
