Bookstore hosts Colorado author event on Saturday

Eight area authors will meet readers and sign books at a Colorado Author Event from 2–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.

Authors set to participate in the event are:

■ Kathleen Arthur — “The Arthur Ranch on East Divide Creek.”

■ Rhonda Dunlap — “Guide to Super Raw Foods.”

■ Nancy L. Hagerman — “Pursue the Beloved.”

■ Patricia Martin — “Stepping Stones to the Sun,” “A Meadowlark Calling.”

■ Judy Buffington Sammons — “Dos Rios Memories — A Biography of Alonzo Hartman,” “Riding, Roping, and Roses —  Colorado’s Women Ranchers” and “Keepin’ the Peace — Early-day Justice on Colorado’s Western Slope.”

■ DeAnn Smallwood — “Wyoming Heather.”

■ Philip Ripley Ward — “Golf is Not What You Think.”

■ Debby Arthur Warner — “Only By Chance in Cripple Creek.”

 

Author featured during night at Math & Science Center

Front Range children’s author Michelle Rodenburg will sign copies of her books at the Family Science Night from 6–8:30 p.m. Thursday at John McConnell Math & Science Center of Western Colorado, 2660 Unaweep Ave.

Admission for the evening is $5.

Rodenburg’s books include “The Twelve Days of Autumn in Colorado,” “Colorado Creatures: An Alphabet Book,” “The Twelve Days of Winter in Colorado,” “A Forever Family, A Puppy’s Tale” and “The Good Germ.”
