Christian Writers Expo set for Saturday
A number of authors will showcase their work at the Western Slope Christian Writers Expo set for 5–8 p.m. Saturday at Four Winds Coffee and Tea in the Christ Center, 1235 Bookcliff Ave.
Authors set to attend include Darek Barefoot, Dawn Bell, Jessica Bertrand, Stephanie Boda, Joan Coonprom, Robin Densmore Fuson, Sandra K. Dubois, Dominic Jones, Vicki Knob, Lucinda Stein and Joyce Yoder.
Attendees can interact with the authors and get books signed.

Writing workshop planned in Montrose
A two-day workshop is planned for those who haven’t written for a while or want some tips for getting started in the first place.
“Write Word, Write Place” with Kierstin Bridger is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Weehaken Creative Arts, 310 S. Ninth St., in Montrose.
Registration costs $175.
