Local author is book finalist for award

A Grand Valley author’s book is among the finalists in the 2013 Colorado Independent Publishers Association’s EVVY Awards Book Competition.

“Ptimothy Ptarmigan” by Frank Daniels was on the list of finalists at cipacatalog.com.

“Ptimothy Ptarmigan” is about the adventures of a ptarmigan and his high-alpine friends, including a marmot, a pika and a human poet.

The winners of the CIPA EVVY Awards will be announced at an awards banquet on May 18 in Lone Tree.
