Book-signings set for ‘Biggest Bucks’
■ Authors Susan and Richard Reneau have a three upcoming book-signings for their book “Colorado’s Biggest Bucks and Bulls, Third Edition,” which features residents from Mesa, Delta, Montrose and Ouray counties.
At 1 p.m. Monday the couple will be at Sportsman’s Warehouse, 2464 U.S. Highway 6&50.
Starting at 3 p.m. Tuesday, they will be at Darryl’s Taxidermy Shop, 159 29 Road.
Then from 2–7:30 p.m. Thursday the Reneaus will be at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
■ Anthony F. Prinster and Kate Ruland-Thorne, authors of “The History of City Market,” will sign copies of their book from 2–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
Cowboy poets to lead workshop
Learn about cowboy poetry with poets Tom Sharpe and Don Wynkoop at workshop hosted by Mesa County Libraries in conjunction with the Museum of Western Colorado’s Grand Junction Poetry Gathering on Nov. 1–2.
The Saddle Up and Write! Cowboy Poetry Workshop will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Central Library, 443 N. Sixth St.
Sharpe and Wynkoop will give an overview of cowboy poetry, share their experiences and lead writing exercises and poetry drills.
