Friends of Mesa County seeks donations
The Friends of Mesa County Libraries is requesting donations of books, video, CDs and DVDs for its Fall Book Sale.
The items need to be of good quality and may be dropped off anytime at the Friends Book Drop at the First Congregational Church, 1425 N. Fifth St. The book drop is on the west side of the church.
The Fall Book Sale is set for Oct. 18–20 and proceeds support programming at Mesa county Libraries.

Book-signings scheduled downtown
Crystal Books and Gifts plans to have a book-signing for all the authors it has hosted for signings this summer during the ANB Bank Farmers Market.
This event will go from 5–7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the store at 439 Main St.
Deborah Hull will sign copies of her book “Donut Butt: The Bighorn Sheep” from 3–5 p.m. Saturday at Hastings, 2401 North Ave.
Donut Butt is a bighorn sheep living in Rocky Mountain National Park who is dealing with insecurities.
