Book-signings set for Saturday
■ Mark Stevens, author of the Allison Coil mysteries “Antler Dust” and “Buried by the Roan,” will be signing his books from 1–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
Coil, a hunting guide who operates in the area of the Flat Tops Wilderness, is the protagonist and sleuth in these mysteries, which were both released in August 2011.
■ Cynthia Long will sign copies of her book, “Sage for the Ages,” from 2–4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 2451 Patterson Road.
In her book, Long “takes you on a journey of learning through desert sands, with plenty of prickly cactus characters along the way,” an online synopsis said.
“Sage for the Ages” was released in July.
■ “Donut Butt: The Bighorn Sheep” author Deborah Hull will be at a book-signing from 3–5 p.m. Saturday at Hastings, 2401 North Ave.
Donut Butt is a bighorn sheep living in Rocky Mountain National Park who is dealing with insecurities.
