Briefs: OA Buckwild February 20, 2009

Buckwild show coming to Quincy’s in downtown GJ

Psychobilly, surf rock and country will take over Quincy Bar on Friday, Feb. 20, for the Buckwild show.

In August 2008, Modern Drunkard Magazine called Buckwild, “Wholesome booze-drenched cowpunk.”

Buckwild’s lead man, Rex Moser, formed the band in 1999 with visions of cowpunk, blues and rockabilly dancing in his head.

Buckwild has played alongside Reverend Horton Heat, 3 Bad Jacks, Cowboy Mouth and Eagle Eye Cherry, according to the show’s promoter Johny Wrong.

There is no cover to get into Quincy’s, but you must be 21 or older to attend. The show starts at 10 p.m.
