College’s jazz quartet to be at winery; Wind Symphony to be at Robinson Theatre
• The Faculty Jazz Quartet, all members of Mesa State College’s music department, offers a relaxing evening of music beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Two Rivers Winery, 2097 Broadway.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and there will be hors d’oeuvres and full cash bar.
The Faculty Jazz Quartet is Sean Flanigan, trombone; Tim Fox, piano; Dennis Woodrich, bass; and percussionist Darin Kamstra performing original and standard jazz in a variety of styles.
Tickets are $45 for main room table seats and $35 for all other seats. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.

• Mesa State College wind and percussion students will play a variety of standard wind music literature as well as some more recently composed pieces at a concert beginning the week Jan. 19.
The Mesa State College Wind Symphony will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, in the Robinson Theatre of the Moss Performing Arts Center, 1231 N. 12th St.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students.
