Briefs: OA Cross Canadian Ragweed January 09, 2009

For 14 years, frontman Cody Canada, guitarist Grady Cross, bassist Jeremy Plato and drummer Randy Ragsdale have played together as Cross Canadian Ragweed.
The Oklahoma-based Southern rock band performs with guests Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Mesa Theater and Club, 538 Main St.
Cross Canadian Ragweed is included in the all-star Country Jam USA 2009 lineup and scheduled to play Friday, June 26. 
The band has released four studio albums and has toured an average of 260 nights on the road each year. Go to the band’s MySpace page or to hear several tracks from each of its four albums.
