Briefs: OA Guys and Dolls Jr. November 14, 2008

“Guys and Dolls Jr.”, the young actors’ version of the Broadway musical, will be performed by students from Creative Avenues.

This version of the musical, to be performed at 1:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, has more kids and less gambling but with some snazzy characters.

The 16 child actors range from second graders to sophomores in high school.

Tickets to the performances at the Riverside Educational Center, Dual Immersion Academy theater, 552 W. Main St., Building A, cost $5 and lasts about an hour.

The following Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m., more Creative Avenues students perform both the “Mystery of the Missing Millions,” an original play written by the Creative Avenues’ play production class, and “Disney’s Jungle Book Kids.” These plays also take place at the Riverside Educational Center.

Tickets cost $5.
