Choral society to perform Handel’s 'Messiah’

Make Handel’s “Messiah” part of your Easter with a performance of the oratorio on Sunday, April 12.

The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction will give a full performance of “Messiah” at 2:30 p.m. at Avalon Theatre, 645 Main St. A program with background information about “Messiah” will be at1:45 p.m.

The performance is free.

Singing with the Messiah Choral Society Chamber Orchestra and Chorus are soprano Teressa Winslow, alto Katie Johnson, tenor Tyson Repke and bass Ashraf Sewailam, according to http://www.mcsgj.org.
