Critics have called The Boulder Acoustic Society “experimental, but not pretentious,” “music that gets people moving and shaking” and a “multinational, multicultural, symphonic, swingin’ band,” according to reviews on the band’s MySpace page.
The first half of the concert will be broadcast live on 88.1 FM and streamed on kafmradio.org.
The Radio Room suggests buying tickets early by calling 241-8801, ext. 7, or going to its Web site. Most concerts in the intimate venue sell out fast.
