Detroit’s Koffin Kats brings its 'everything but normal’ sound here

The Koffin Kats describes its sound as “everything but normal.”

The band, which formed in 2003 and hails from Detroit, plays Sunday, Nov. 2, at Mesa Theater and Club, 538 Main St.

“Is it punk, rock or psychobilly?” asks the band at its Web site, myspace.com/koffinkats. Click on select songs at the Web site, and decide for yourself.

Loaded .45 and Intertwined open the show. Doors open at7 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m.

Admission is $12 for the all ages show.
