Award-winning musician to perform at Xian Wei

Acoustic performer and award-winning songwriter Jonathan Kingham performs Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Xian Wei, 1530 North Ave.

According to his Web site, http://www.jonathankingham.com, Kingham’s accolades include first place honors at a National Telluride Troubadour Songwriting Contest and in The Unisong International Song Contest. Two years in a row he placed in the top five of the John Lennon Song contest.

If that’s not enough, add a first place award in the folk category and the overall grand prize at a USA Songwriting Competition with 33,000 worldwide entries.

Kingham’s singing has been featured in films, soap operas and the WB network show “Felicity.”

The music starts at 8 p.m. and admission is $7.
